Here is Josh coming through one of the check points. He did one 56 mile loop and one 24 mile loop. He placed somewhere in the middle of 300 bikes... The results will be posted to the internet soon. He did really well. Only took a couple of headers - NO BROKEN BONES!!!! Yeah!!
Mel & Josh are somewhere in the line up below. Mel started off really well then ended up in a cactus. He didn't finish the race but he has a great story to tell about a darn magnetic cactus. Did you know that to remove cactus from a large portion of your body you should put Elmer's School glue on the affected part, let it dry and then peal off. Hum, who knew!?!?
There were several helicopters videoing and watch from the air.
That's a lot of bikes!!

Thanks for the Cactus tip. Next time I ride bikes with Melvin I'll keep that in mind. HaHa!
Congrats to the kids. Ozzy, 5th is great! that was a lot of bikes.
awesome! wonder if Melvin could use a bucket and a hose? oh, never mind, those have other purposes.
